A multi-car collision on the 405 Freeway on Wednesday caused several injuries. Three vehicles collided in the northbound lanes of 405 south around 11am, said California Highway Patrol. The crash happened when a Porsche and Hyundai slowed down for stopped traffic. A Toyota driver approaching them failed to stop in time and rear-ended the Hyundai, which then crashed into the Porsche. The 22-year-old Hyundai driver suffered major injuries from the multiple-car crash.
According to news reports, a man and woman involved in the collision also suffered injuries and were brought to Fountain Valley Hospital and Long Beach Memorial Medical Center.
