According to a series of news articles, a driver was unfortunately killed in a crash that happened last Wednesday morning.
The news agencies covering this crash have revealed that this accident occurred when a vehicle carrying only one woman veered off the westbound lane of the Millbrae Avenue. According to the release issued by the California Highway Patrol, the motorist attempted to bring the vehicle back to the road but it overcorrected and veered out of control crossing into the eastbound lane. The troopers who responded to the scene claimed that the vehicle crossed a drainage ditch and hit a fence made of wood and wire just south of the roadway. According to the news, a piece of wood pierced the glass as soon as the vehicle crashed and hit the woman in the head.
Authorities pronounced the driver dead at the scene.
The California Highway Patrol is still investigating this accident to determine its causes.
