Multiple news agencies have revealed that a vehicle hit a man who was riding his bicycle on the southbound lanes of the North State Street last Tuesday.
The accident report issued by the California Highway Patrol revealed that the bicyclist was reportedly looking over his shoulder at all times to watch out for the traffic when he started to move toward the east shoulder at the same time a car coming out of a nearby driveway drove into the road and hit him.
The rider was transported to the hospital with moderate injuries. The accident is now under investigation.
