Altec Utility Vehicles Recalled Over Possible Risk Of Injury

The information released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reveals that the manufacturer Altec Industries INC., has recently issued a recall of certain model year 2008 to 2011 utility vehicles.

The news outlets covering this recall have showed that the ATB tree guard switch bracket may have been installed incorrectly in some of the vehicles, which may potentially lead to a possible risk of injury since the weight could fall if the boom is raised to its maximum elevation.

Altec has claimed the company will notify owners and instruct them on how to have the vehicles listed in this recall inspected for free and repaired, if necessary.

The affected models are listed as AC18, AC23 and AC 38.

As a Los Angeles personal injury lawyer, I urge those who may own one of the recalled utility vehicles mentioned in the article to contact the company right away. Never wait for a recalled vehicle or consumer product to fail, act quickly. Responding to a recall in a timely manner could keep you and your family away from several possible hazards posed by faulty products.

I encourage all readers to keep it in mind that a personal injury lawyer could be of great assistance to you or a loved one if you’re ever severely injured in an accident caused by a third party. Don’t hesitate and contact a proficient attorney to assess your case promptly.
