According to news sources, a Los Angeles based ground beef producer recalled about 377,000 pounds of ground beef amid possible risks of E. Coli contamination.
The manufacturing company, Commercial Meat Company, is based in Los Angeles and has produced the recalled ground beef between Sept. 7 and Oct. 6. The U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health announced the recall of the ground beef Thursday because of potential E. Coli bacteria contamination.
The recalled beef products included bulk ground beef, beef patties, taco meat beef and ground beef chili meat and had an establishment number “EST. 4873″ inside the USDA mark.
Consumers with the ground beef should stop eating it immediately and those experiencing E. Coli like symptoms should contact their physician or health care provider right away.
