A biker was seriously injured in a Bakersfield motorcycle accident when he collided violently with a big rig truck over the weekend. According to news reports, a semi truck was turning left onto a city road when a man riding a motorcycle slammed into the back of the vehicle. The biker was launched into the air and sustained major injuries when he impacted with the pavement.
Apparently the bike crash took place at the intersection of Union Avenue and Houghton Road at around 5 p.m. CHP officers investigating the motorcycle accident did not believe alcohol or drugs were contributing factors in the accident.
