According to the multiple news agencies covering recall alerts across the nation, Kitchen Selectives® 6-Speed Blenders are being recalled over possible laceration hazards.
The recent recall announcement issued by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has established that about 4,069 units of these blenders may pose serious risks to users, therefore a prompt recall was deemed necessary. According to the information found in the official recall statement, Select Brands Inc., of Lenexa, Kansas hasn’t received any reports of incidents related to these products but according to the firm, the plastic pitcher that is part of the blender’s set could eventually become separated from the blade assembly. If the problem occurs, consumers could be injured as a result of the sudden exposure to the rotating blades.
The federal agency stated in the official recall alert that consumers may identify the recalled products by its brand name and logo that reads “Kitchen Selectives®”.
All potentially defective items were sold between June 2008 and April 2012. At this moment, the company along the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission urges consumers to stay away from this blender and to return any recalled item to the place of purchase for a full refund.
Any doubts or questions related to this particular recall should be addressed to the Select Brands Inc., the importer of these recalled and potentially hazardous blenders. Hopefully, this recall is being carried out successfully so no injuries are reported in association with these recalled blenders.
