The official announcement that has been recently released by the California Highway Patrol has demonstrated that the motorist was traveling on the northbound lanes of the Highway 70 at about 7:45 a.m. when his vehicle veered off to the side of the road and crashed against a tree at Highway 65.

The CHP claimed that the vehicle was carrying a passenger who was found to be unharmed.
As a Ventura personal injury lawyer, I’m glad that no serious injuries were reported as a result of this accident. I urge drivers in California to keep it in mind that driving under the influence of prescription drugs could be just as dangerous as driving under the influence of alcohol. Using a substance that can cloud your judgment and affect your driving skills can put you and your passengers in a very dangerous situation. I encourage you to prevent any accidents by never driving under the influence of any type of drugs or alcohol.
Keep it in mind that it could be in your best interest to contact a personal injury lawyer in your region to learn about the legal options available to you if you’re ever injured in an accident caused by a third party. Do not hesitate.
