Young Boy Injured In Truck Accident
According to news sources, a 10-year-old boy was seriously injured Thursday afternoon after a truck ran him over as he left his south Sacramento elementary school. The FedEx truck was traveling northbound on Caymus Drive near Beitzel Elementary School, where the boy attends school. A man helping a friend with a tire change on the Ventura Freeway was killed Saturday night after a car traveling on the road drifted towards the right shoulder of the roadway where the man was standing and struck him, according to news sources.
