Several news agencies have revealed that Britax is issuing a recall on certain Chaperone Infant Child Restraint Systems manufactured between Septemter 1st, 2010 and April 30th, 2011.
The harness adjuster may detach from the seat shell, which then may not properly restrain a child, increasing the risk of injury in the event of an auto accident. There are 14,000 units that may be affected and owners are urged to contact Britax to replace the harness adjusters.
