600 pounds of frozen chicken mushroom pies are being recalled by Crave Foods of Los Angeles due to containing monosodium glutamate (MSG), which is undeclared on the product’s label. The 6-lb. cases of “Crave Pies Chicken Mushroom Pie” each containing 12 packages are part of the recall. Each package’s labels state their contents of two pies, 4 ounces each, with establishment number “P-27348″ inside the USDA inspection mark. The pies were manufactured from September, 2010 to December 2010 and shipped to distribution centers in California and New York for sale to retail shops.
The USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service noticed the packaging error during a routine inspection. No reported adverse reactions have surfaced due to consuming the product, and if anyone fears they may have a reaction they should seek medial attention immediately. I am glad to see nobody was harmed due to the flawed packaging. If you feel you consumed a product that caused health problems, get medical help as soon as possible, then contact a personal injury attorney in Los Angeles to address your case. Your rights from unsafe products must be protected and a knowledgeable lawyer can get you the help you deserve for your case.
