Teens and their parents are being urged to participate in classes organized by the California Highway Patrol during this summer.
According to the news, the “Start Smart” classes hope to provide teens with classes that will demonstrate how distracted driving or drunk driving could lead to serious accidents. The CHP hopes to increase the awareness of teens through the interactive safe driving tips that will be taught during these classes.
The event was launched after it’s been noted that the leading cause of death among young drivers is auto accidents.
