According to multiple local news agencies, a woman from Topanga was unfortunately fatally wounded as a result of an accident that happened last Thursday.
The official accident memo recently issued by the California Highway Patrol has revealed that the 46-year-old motorist was traveling on the northbound lanes of Malibu Canyon Road on her Mazda Miata when she suddenly lost control of her vehicle, drove off the road and crashed 300 feet over the side. According to the information found in the articles mentioning this accident, the woman was ejected from the car as it crashed at about 9:49 in the morning.
The wreck that happened just north of Malibu’s city limit is now under investigation.
According to the authorities, the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene promptly to find that only one vehicle was involved in this crash. No other occupants were in the car at the moment of the accident.
The woman unfortunately succumbed to her injuries and was declared dead at the scene.
It’s incredibly unfortunate for an attorney to learn that someone was fatally wounded as result of an auto accident. My most heartfelt condolences go out to the family and closest friends of the woman who was killed in this crash.
Hopefully, the authorities are being able to investigate this accident thoroughly to determine the causes and circumstances prior to the occurrence so drivers can avoid being involved in similar situations in the future.
