A distracted driver in Minneapolis has been sentenced to serve at least one year in prison after causing an auto crash that unfortunately resulted in the deaths of two women and an unborn child.
According to the news, the man who’s been recently sentenced is said to have kept his eyes off the road for at least 16 seconds, which caused the accident. Prosecutors asked for a sentence of four and a half years, and the distracted driver’s family asked the judge to not issue a prison sentence.
