According to a series of news agencies, a forty-five year old motorist was reportedly arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, as well as careless driving and improper use of a communications device while behind the wheel of her vehicle.
Although no accidents occurred as a result of her reckless behavior, Police officers noticed the woman texting and driving carelessly posing a risk of getting into an accident and endangering other people’s lives. The driver did later divulge to officers that she had been drinking prior to the arrest.
