Firefighters Learn About Electric-Car Safety

Times are changing and so are the vehicles we have been driving.

Firefighters and paramedics are used to get to the a place where they have to save people from crashes associates with cars that may have caught on fire or something worse, but what should a firefighter do when an electric vehicle has an emergency?

According to the news, the National Fire Protection Association is offering specialized training to all firefighters and other emergency crews on how to respond to an electric hybrid car emergency, especially if the emergency in question is related to water or something worse. To keep emergency crews from being electrocuted, firefighters are being trained to learn exactly what to do in the occasion of an emergency.
