The driver of a Lexus automobile is lucky to be alive after getting sideswiped by a big rig truck in Fresno. According to news reports, the motorsist ran a red light and had his car totalled when struck by the big rig. The CHP stated that the big rig was heading eastbound on on surface streets and had a green light at the intersection. The Lexus was speeding through an intersection at 55 mph.
The Lexus was dragged underneath the truck and pinned once the big rig came to a stop. The truck driver was not injured in the crash however, the car driver was rushed to the hospital for medical treatment by paramedics. 3 tow trucks showed up to the scene to move the truck and clear the destroyed Lexus away from the crash scene.
