Hands-Free Devices: Not Always Foolproof

It’s a widely known fact that California has recently legalized texting while driving for those who can do so with a hands-free device.

The new rule is reportedly going into effect in January but before drivers get excited they must remember that there are a few requirements that should be observed. It is only legal to text hands-free meaning that you will need a voice to text application in order to drive and text.

There are many options in voice to text but it’s important to remember they are not always foolproof. If while completing a hands-free text you realize you’ve sent the wrong thing remember you cannot simply pick up your phone while driving to fix it.
