According to several news agencies, in Illinois, four new laws have been passed in an attempt to make driving safer for all.
Out of the four laws recently passed, three are have been enacted to keep drivers from talking and texting on cell phones while behind the wheel of a motor vehicle. They mostly involve distractions while near emergency centers or construction zones.
The fourth law that was passed will increase the punishment for serious speeding offenses.
