Inaccurate Software Prompts Champion M1235 Bus Recall

The company Champion Bus, Inc. has issued a recall for some of their trucks manufactured between June 21st, 2011 and November 18th, 2011.

According to an official announcement released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the recall was issued due to the fact the affected vehicles are equipped with inaccurate fault detection module software, which could possibly lead to the malfunctioning of the vehicles in question.

The company has stated all drivers and owners of the recalled buses will be contacted immediately so the issue can be repaired without delay.

It’s my hope as a Long Beach car accident lawyer that all recalled vehicles will be promptly fixed so no accidents caused by this faulty vehicles will be reported in the future. In my line of work, I’m unfortunately very familiar with tragic accidents caused by faulty and recalled vehicles. I’m glad no accidents have been reported in association with this particular recall.

Whenever you or a loved one is involved in an accident caused by a third party and you were hurt, you may like to call a personal injury lawyer near you to ask for a free evaluation of your case at once. Time lost is evidence lost: don’t wait any longer.
