According to several local news articles, a 47-year-old woman was fatally wounded as a result of an auto accident that happened last Thursday morning in Los Banos.
The single-vehicle crash happened when the woman was traveling on the northbound lanes of the Delta Road just north of Henry Miller Road when she suddenly allowed her vehicle to veer off the road where it crashed into a power pole that was found severed off the east shoulder of the road. At this moment, the California Highway Patrol troopers who responded to the scene say that that the woman was pronounced dead and that it’s not yet known how fast she was driving before the accident.
According to the news, the vehicle overturned before it veered off the road, hit the pole and turned up into an irrigation canal on the east shoulder.
According to the officials, the woman did not seem to be intoxicated at the time of the accident. At this moment, the California Highway Patrol is investigating this case to determine the causes that may have led her to lose control of her vehicle. My most heartfelt condolences go out to the family and closest friends of the woman whose life was lost in this crash. Hopefully, they’re receiving all the attention and support they deserve during this tough moment of their lives.
