According to multiple local news agencies, the authorities have disclosed the identity of a man who was killed in a terrible accident that happened last weekend in a North County freeway.
The official accident inform issued by the California Highway Patrol demonstrated that a 32-year-old man from Chula Vista was traveling on the southbound lanes of the Interstate 15 when his vehicle suddenly veered off near Mission Avenue and hit a guardrail. According to one account, conditions were foggy and the man was reportedly spotted driving at a high rate of speed prior to the accident.
The troopers who responded to the scene claim that three passengers were immediately able to release themselves from the wrecked vehicle but the driver and a second occupant couldn’t get out of the wrecked vehicle.
Just moments later, an Isuzu Trooper SUV unfortunately was unable to see the stopped vehicle and broadsided into the Honda, claiming the life of the driver.
The passenger struck inside of the vehicle was taken to the hospital for treatment.
At this moment, it’s still unknown exactly what may have caused this accident. The California Highway Patrol is now investigating this crash to identify its causes.
