According to several local news agencies a man from Pasadena was found dead inside of a vehicle off the side of the 210 Freeway last Thursday morning.
The official occurrence inform issued by the California Highway Patrol, the 54-year-old man reportedly may have pulled over along the freeway because he felt ill. The cause of death is still being investigated and according to one account from a trooper who responded to the scene, the Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck that was found along the right shoulder just before 6 o’clock in the morning with no signs of damages.
A witness contacted the authorities to report on the unresponsive man inside of the truck. According to a California Highway Patrol spokesperson, the witness tried to open the doors of the truck to aid the victim but the doors were locked from inside.
Emergency crews responded to the scene but it was too late, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
It’s not yet known if there were any other vehicles involved in this occurrence but the authorities are now investigating this case and should have more details regarding the causes behind this man’s death in the near future.
