According to several news articles, an accident that happened early yesterday morning has sent a motorcyclist to the hospital.
The accident, according to an official memo issued by the California Highway Patrol, happened when a group of vehicles traveling in opposite directions ended up being involved in a chain reaction accident. According to the troopers who responded to the scene, a big rig and a motorcycle crashed first and subsequently, several other vehicles crashed as a result.
The accident was reported around 9 a.m. and according to the California Highway Patrol, the 50-year-old motorcyclist from Suisun City was transported to the hospital right away. Moderate to major injuries were reported. At this moment, the California Highway Patrol is investigating this accident and should have more details soon.
At least six vehicles were involved in this chain reaction crash and no other injuries were reported.
The authorities closed the road for about an hour and a half to clear up the crash scene and aid the victims.
Many personal injury lawyers can tell you that similar accidents have ended up tragically in the past. I’m glad that nobody was fatally injured in this crash and hope to see the victim in this terrible accident completely recovered in no time.
I encourage the authorities to promote safe driving techniques so occurrences like this can be avoided in the future.
