Mother, Daughter Injured in Rancho Cucamonga Rollover Crash

A mother and her daughter sustained moderate injuries Monday evening in a single-vehicle crash when their car tumbled down an embankment in Rancho Cucamonga, report news sources.

According to the California Highway Patrol, at about 4 p.m., a black Nissan Pathfinder went through a guardrail along the far-right side of the southbound 15 Freeway south of Arrow Route. The sport utility vehicle overturned several times as it plunged down an embankment.

Emergency crews responded to the scene of the accident where the woman and her daughter, who is around 10-years-old, had suffered moderate injuries. They were transported by ambulance to a Colton medical center, said a CHP officer.

According to the CHP incident information web page, a SigAlert was issued at approximately 4:20 p.m. and canceled about an hour later.

The cause of the crash is unknown.

As a San Bernardino car accident lawyer, I am well aware of how severe, even fatal, the injuries from a rollover accident can be. I wish the mother and her daughter a rapid recovery from their injuries.

Being a car accident lawyer, I am moved to remind motorists to always wear a seatbelt and to stay alert to changing traffic and road conditions in order to maintain your own safety as well as the wellbeing of those sharing the road with you.
