The many news articles mentioning this tragedy have revealed that a couple from West Virginia was riding a motorcycle on Avenue 24 last Tuesday just south of Porterville when a tractor and trailer turned onto Avenue 24 from Highway 65. As a motorcycle accident lawyer Long Beach, I sincerely hope that the family and closest friends of the couple tragically involved in this accident are being able to receive all the support and attention they deserve in this time of grief. My most heartfelt condolences go out to them. I encourage all drivers and riders in California to stay particularly aware of the traffic coming from interstates. A failure to notice vehicles coming from the opposite direction while you’re attempting to turn could cause serious accidents. I urge you to always follow road signs and traffic regulations so similar accidents can be avoided in the future.
Whenever you or a dear friend is injured in an accident that was caused by a reckless and careless driver, please consider consulting with a personal injury lawyer in your city and ask about the legal options available to your case.
