Multiple official reports associated with health risks certain sanitary issues are posing to Monticello consumers have surfaced.
According to recent news articles, state inspectors have recently flagged a Walmart store in New York after several problems related to a mouse infestation have been spotted. Some of the problems found in the Walmart store in Monticello, NY include: lettuce being used in ready-to-eat food items without being washed; mouse droppings present on several shelves; half-way chewed health bars noted on back of shelf; shelves that hadn’t been cleaned; mouse droppings present in canned soups and other packages; mouse urine and droppings occurring on soda shelves and retail bagged candy; mouse carcass present in bait station, metal soda supports and in the end of product isle.
