Multiple Tickets Issued During The Second “It’s Not Worth It” Month

Multiple news agencies have revealed in recent articles that during the second month of the Distracted Driving campaign in California, at least 57,000 tickets have been distributed to drivers who were using a cell phone while behind the wheel.

Multiple local and state law enforcement agencies are participating in this crackdown known as “It’s Not Worth It!, which hopes to see a significant drop in the number of auto accidents caused by distracted drivers in California.

According to some officials, drivers are still not completely aware of the dangers of using a handheld device while behind the wheel. Troopers believe that some motorists think that they can pull it off and that the hazards do not apply to them.
