New Law in California Allows Hands-Free Texting

Multiple news agencies have revealed that a new law in California may allow drivers to text while behind the wheel through a hands-free device.

According to the news, hands-free devices that allow users to text without touching the phone can be used while behind the wheel, which could cause some confusion to residents since the use of certain hands-free devices is still illegal. Certain safety officials are concerned with the possibility of this new law since they believe texting in any way poses a risk to drivers since it could pose a diversion hazard to motorists all across the state.
