A man from Palm Desert was hit by a van on Thursday in Bermuda Dunes, reported the Riverside County coroner’s office. The 39-year-old later succumbed to his injuries at John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital. He was driving a utility van westbound on Avenue 42 when the crash happened. He was driving in the northern lanes of the roadway and immediately before he crashed he was riding southeast to the right. The cause of the collision was being investigated late Thursday. It did not appear that alcohol was a factor in the crash.
According to news reports, he was pronounced dead at 8:17pm after he brought from the scene of the collision between Washington and Adams streets. As a Los Angeles personal injury lawyer, my thoughts are with his family. If you or a loved one were harmed in an auto accident caused by negligence, discuss your case with a car accident lawyer Los Angeles who can help evaluate your case, assess your claim, and answer any important legal questions you may have relating to your case.
