According to multiple local news sources, a man from Sonora was fatally wounded as a result of an accident that happened last Thursday afternoon. The official reports issued by the California Highway Patrol have demonstrated that the accident happened around 5:20 p.m. when the man’s Honda vehicle crossed the centerline and crashed against a Ford F-350 pickup truck.
The troopers who responded to the scene say that the motorist was traveling on the southbound lanes of the Parrots Ferry Road when he reportedly lost control of the vehicle for unknown reasons before driving into the opposing lane. The Honda driver was seriously injured while the Ford driver sustained moderate injuries. All individuals involved in this crash were rushed to the hospital where later the Honda driver was declared dead.
