According to the information recently released in several news reports, a woman was unfortunately killed as a result of an accident that happened on Highway 17 last Tuesday.
The official release issued by the California Highway Patrol reveals that a pedestrian was crossing the Highway 17 sometime around 3 a.m. last Tuesday when a truck hit her. Although some information regarding this accident has reached the media, the causes behind the occurrence haven’t still been disclosed. It’s not yet known if the pedestrian was crossing at a patch of the road where she was allowed to cross or what direction the vehicle was going at the time of the accident.
At this moment, the California Highway Patrol is asking any witnesses to step up and contact them as soon as possible.
The victim’s age and place of residence haven’t been revealed to the media.
