In case you did not read about the Childrens Tylenol Products recall due to poor facility conditions you may have also missed that McNeil Consumer Healthcare for Blacksmith Brands has issued a voluntary recall for PediaCare.
The PediaCare is being recalled because it is processed in the same plant that the Children’s Tylenol and Motrin is and so they are taking a proactive step to make sure that people’s lives are not put at risk for a known hazard.
If you have purchased one of these products it’s suggested that you contact a local pharmacy and see if they have a “take-back” program rather than pouring the product down the drain. The manufacturer is not going to be giving a refund for the product, but they will be issuing a coupon for a free replacement product when it becomes available again. They are going to have a different plant manufacture their PediaCare medicine.
I’ve been a Personal Injury Attorney Los Angeles for 30 years and over that time there have been a number of hazardous recalls. It’s important to stay up to date on these recalls so that you can keep you and your family safe.
