According to news sources, a fatal accident took place Thursday morning when a pickup truck collided head-on with a big rig truck traveling on Ramona Expressway.
The accident took place between San Jacinto and Perris on the highway when both a pickup truck and a big rig collided head-on, the California Highway Patrol said. The CHP is currently investigating whether or not the driver of the pickup truck reportedly caused the accident by attempting to pass a vehicle on the roadway at the time when the collision took place.
The collision reportedly killed both the pickup driver and the big rig driver at the scene of the crash.
The CHP is currently investigating the cause of the accident.
No other collisions or injuries were reported.
