A multiple car accident occurred on the 17 freeway near Los Gatos, California yesterday morning. Mercury News reported that the car accident involved 3 vehicles including a Santa Clara County police officer. The car accident took place around 9am on the southbound side of the 17 freeway.
Witnesses reported that the car accident was caused by a teenager who’s car collided with another vehicle. The car that was hit by the teenager who lost control and swerved into another lane on the highway. A police cruiser was involved in the car accident when it t-boned the car that swerved into the officers lane.
The police officer and motorist that he collided with in the car accident were taken to a local hospital by paramedics. Both individuals suffered minor car accident injuries and were released from the hospital after receiving medical treatment.
