Law enforcement agencies had plenty of action on Sunday, as twenty people were arrested for driving under the influence in the California High Patrol’s area from Petaluma to Santa Rosa. Petaluma police arrested a 43-year-old after a woman fell off the back of his back and he left her behind. He was arrested for three violations, a hit-and-run, driving under the influence, and violating probation for a DUI. The motorcyclist also was not licensed and his license was restricted to driving to and from work only. His girlfriend sustained a large head laceration and leg burns. The motorcyclist was sent to Sonoma County Jail and given a $30,000 bail.
According to news reports, in another incident a 25-year-old man from Novato punched his friend who refused to buy him beer. Also, a 36-year-old man from Petaluma lost control of his truck on the Lakeville Highway. He was arrested for a DUI, driving on a suspended license and being in violation of another DUI conviction. As a Los Angeles car accident lawyer, I am glad no one was hurt more seriously in these accidents. If you or a loved one were harmed in a car crash due to negligence, discuss your case with a personal injury attorney Los Angeles.
