Law enforcement is searching for a suspect who fled the scene of a collision that resulted in injury at the Interstate 205 split on Interstate 580 Wednesday. The crash happened around 7:15pm. A white Nissan Sentra lost control, then cut through three lanes of traffic and collided into the highway’s center divide, said a California Highway Patrol dispatcher. A silver Mercury sedan was later determined to have possibly cut-off the Nissan. It was discovered by authorities later in a Walmart parking lot in Tracy, abandoned by its owner. Another vehicle may have been involved in the crash, and was believed to be spinning donuts just before the collision happened.
According to news reports, the Nissan driver was brought to a hospital immediately. His injuries, however, are thankfully not serious. As a personal injury attorney Los Angeles, I’m glad no one was hurt more seriously in this collision and I hope investigators find the perpetrator in this crash and the hit-and-run suspect comes forward. If you or a loved one are involved in an auto wreck which resulted in injuries, discuss your case with a qualified car accident lawyer who can evaluate your claim and discuss your case.
