Multiple news agencies have been reporting that Café- Tasse S.A. has issued a recall recently for some of the company’s chocolate bars.
According to the information found in the company’s recall notice, all bars of Café-Tasse Noir (Dark) Belgian Chocolate should not be consumed since these items might contain milk, which is an ingredient that hasn’t been declared in the product’s ingredients list. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has also declared in an official statement that these items must be taken off the shelves in California for posing a risk to the health of consumers who may suffer serious allergic reactions if they consume samples of this recalled chocolate bars.
The company along the federal agency has urged consumers to return all bars with best before date of “15 SEPT 2013” and the code number 54000219 505504 printed on the Café-Tasse Noir (Dark) Belgian Chocolate’s label to the place of purchase for a full refund immediately. This recall was issued voluntarily and all remaining inventory has been properly extinguished.
