According to the information released in an official announcement from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America is issuing a recall for all units of the model 2012 FEC52, FEC72 and FEC92 trucks.
According to the news, the recalled units were manufactured in 2011 and might be equipped with incorrect passenger’s side seat belt buckles. The NHTSA has stated that this issue could pose a serious injury risk to passengers and for that reason, the truck maker has decided to issue this recall promptly.
The 760 trucks equipped with the faulty seat belt buckles should be inspected and fixed as quickly as possible in one of the Mitsubishi authorized dealers.
