An accident that took place on Highway 166 claimed a life, according to several news agencies.
The accident report issued by the California Highway Patrol has revealed that a woman was driving her Mitsubishi compact car on the eastbound lanes of the Highway 166 when for unknown reasons, the vehicle drove off the road, crashed into a metal culvert off the road and overturned. The vehicle rested on its roof after the crash.
Troopers who responded to the scene claim that the woman was declared dead at the scene.
