Early on Thursday, a single-vehicle car crash on Kimberley Road, east of Panorama Point Road, occurred when a 1970 Ford F-250 veered off the edge of the roadway. A report issued by the California Highway Patrol stated the vehicle crashed into the guy wire of a power pole then overturned, coming to a stop on the driver’s side. The CHP did not mention any other occupants inside the vehicle, and later discovered the driver hitch hiked after the crash to his sister’s house, and was later brought to a hospital. “Dispatch received a call from Lassen Medical Group stating that there was a patient in need of transport to Mercy Hospital with major injuries from a traffic collision,” said the CHP.
According to news reports, the driver in the crash was treated for a deep laceration to the back of his head and neck fractures. On Thursday afternoon, he was reported by authorities to be in fair condition. As a Ventura car accident lawyer, I hope he heals quickly from his wounds. If you or a loved one were injured in a collision caused by negligence, discuss your case with a skilled personal injury lawyer who can address your concerns, evaluate your claim and help protect your rights.
