According to several news sources and recent articles, certain sets of tables and chairs are being recalled over possible fall hazards.
The official recall statement recently issued by the importer Vantage Sales, Inc. of Lake Zurich, Illinois and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has revealed that about 200 units of these sets presented defects that could lead to a possible fall. Although no injuries were reported, it’s been known that these three-piece oak table and chair sets that may have been manufactured incorrectly. According to the firm, the table could collapse unexpectedly, which could cause an injury hazard to users.
Consumers with these recalled items in their possession should stop using the set immediately and return the product to the manufacturer or the Stoneberry stores for a full refund.
The recalled model has the style number 404285. All potentially defective units were sold between the months of January of 2012 and March of 2012.
