Stop & Shop LLC has announced a recall of food products due to the possibility of a listeria monocytogenes contamination.
The official recall announcement has stated that the product that may be contaminated by this bacterium was sold as Calico Bean Salad. Units listed under this recall were produced by Costa Fruit & Produce between July 18 and 26th 2012.
The product should be returned to the Stop & Shop location it was purchased from immediately or disposed of properly.
