Study Shows That Even Hands-Free Phones Could Be Dangerous

Just because you are using hands-free technology to have a phone conversation while driving doesn’t mean you’re any safer. Studies show that using hands-free technology does not reduce the number of accidents.

According to the researchers, using a phone while driving makes a driver four times more likely to eventually sustain an injury as a result of an accident. Studies also indicate that adults are actually more likely to use the phone while driving than teenagers, which should serve as an alert because most of the distracted driving campaigns are focused on teen drivers.
