According to the news, the report found that blind spot monitors and lane departure warnings do not help cars. According to the Highway Loss Data Institute, these systems increase the number of crashes. Also in the report, investigators stated that frontal impact prevention systems and adaptive headlights are effective in helping prevent crashes.
