A Chico man is in jail on two charges of second-degree murder following a single-vehicle crash in Avila Beach that killed two people. Two Killed, Two Injured in Avila Beach Accident
Two men died and two were suffered major injuries in a single-vehicle accident in Avila Beach early Friday morning, report media sources. Details regarding the fatal crash are scant. According to the California Highway Patrol, at around 2:10 a.m., a silver Saturn Vue was traveling on Avila Beach Drive just west of Cave Landing Road.
