A pedestrian was stuck and killed Sunday night in East Bakersfield, report news sources. At about 7 p.m. the pedestrian was attempting to cross Niles Street near Morning Drive when he was, according to the California Highway Patrol, struck by a vehicle and dragged fro “what appears to be a good distance.” The CHP reports that the driver did not see the pedestrian prior to the accident because she was looking over her shoulder as she was apparently passing another (read more)
