A big rig closed part of a major Los Angeles-area thoroughfare Friday morning after jackknifing and spilling its load on the roadway, report news sources. The 18-wheeler was hauling blacktop on Sepulveda Boulevard near Steven Drive in Encino when around 4:15 a.m. the tractor-trailer jackknifed and overturned.
