Several California news outlets have been reporting a fatality involving a rollover accident near Palm Springs. A driver was on his Chevy NHR sometime after 10 a.m. going westbound on I-10 when suddenly, his vehicle abruptly veered off the road leading the car to roll over and crash. A four-vehicle crash involving a big-rig sent 8 people to the hospital and left 1 person dead, according to reports. The accident occurred on Jameson Canyon Road around 10:40 a.m. on Monday, August 29, on Highway 12, which has been closed since and may remain closed through the evening commute.
