Media outlets report, a U.S. Marine died in a motorcycle accident Wednesday evening in the unincorporated north San Diego County community of Fallbrook. According to a news release from the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office, at around 5:55 p.m. the 22-year-old serviceman from Sacramento was riding a 2006 Kawasaki motorcycle on East Mission Road when he failed to negotiate a slight turn in the road. CHP Reports 2 Accidents, Multiple Injuries
News agencies indicated that two separate crashes in the Sacramento area injured four people Thursday and Friday. A 27-year-old man was driving a 2003 Ford Expedition that rolled over after being struck head-on by a 2002 Honda Insight being driven by and 80-year-old Rough and Ready resident. The accident happened just before 6:30pm on CR-31 when the 80-year-old veered into oncoming traffic and collided with the other vehicle. News sources say that a woman was killed in a single-vehicle rollover accident in Vacaville Friday night. The California Highway Patrol reported that the woman was driving northbound on Hartley Road near Robinson Road around 8:20pm when, for reasons unknown, her 1999 Mercedes veered off the road and crashed into a ditch.
